IN THIS PROMPT

“Where would your path lead if you followed that first nudge - before the mind starts explaining?” A playful prompt to notice the first “nudge”,  before the mind, language, or inner dialogue starts explaining: What is it? Why do I like it? Is it right or wrong?

What you need:

During the day, notice what subtly pulls your attention:

A colour, a texture, a phrase from a song, a word, a smell, a place you suddenly want to walk toward, something you want to touch, collect, photograph, or remember. For each person, the nudge may look different.

Notice where your attention naturally lands before you consciously try to notice anything. Don’t force meaning. Just collect what calls you.

Make notes or screenshots throughout the day.

At the end of the day, create a poem including the words from your notes.

Reflection:
Read the poem back to yourself, or have someone read it to you. You can also record yourself reading it and listen to it later. Notice what happens in your body as you listen. Write from that experience.
