IN THIS PROMPT
You'll need: yourself, 10 minutes, and somewhere you can walk (inside or outside).
We represent experiences multi-modally - through movement, voice, image, and the body itself. Sometimes understanding arrives through the feet before the head.
STEP 1. Think of something you’re carrying - a worry, a decision, a feeling, something unresolved. Now walk with it. Let your body decide how it feels. How does it move? Notice where it sits in your body - your chest, your shoulders, your gut? What is the posture, pace, movement, sensation? Notice what your body wants to do.
STEP 2. Halfway through, deliberately change your movement.
Walk as if you are no longer carrying it. Notice what shifts. Is it in your posture, pace, breath, or attention?
STEP 3. At the end, find a spot and stand still for 60 seconds.
STEP 4. Sketch or write a few words about what you noticed or what shifted in your body.
